Description

A letter (a) and pamphlet (b) from S.W. Straus and Company to Walter P. Temple, 16 January 1918. The two-page missive, signed by Pacific Coast manager Ferdinand Theriot, concerned the financial firm's offerings of first mortgage real estate bonds, while the pamphlet provided details on the product. The letter noted that Straus salesperson Texas Schramm, father of the long-time Dallas Cowboys football team general manger, was the point of contact. With folds, creases and very light soiling to the letter and edge wear, very light browning and soiling and minor creasing to the pamphlet, the condition of each is good.
