A letter (a) and receipt (b) from William T. Coleman and Company to Anna W. Chapman, 7 April 1886. The documents from the Los Angeles branch of the San Francisco mercantile giant refer to the sales of oranges from the Pasadena area ranch Chapman inherited from her brother William with the account sales receipt showing the next of 340 boxes shipped to Kansas City less commission charges leaving net proceeds due to Chapman. With folds, creases, pin holes and light soiling, the condition is good.
