Description
A letter (a) with envelope (b) from Charles T. Bathy to Nancy Bathy Coyne, 1 February 1874. The missive, sent to Coyne at Wheeler, Michigan, concerns Bathy's activities in Los Angeles, including his employment for William H. Workman in Boyle Heights and his nascent dairy operation there. Bathy went on to live in the region for more than a half century. With stains and soiling on the letter and envelope, the condition is fair overall.
