Description

A letter and envelope from Perry Worden in Pasadena, California to Laura Temple in Alhambra, California, postmarked 8 July 1922. In the typewritten letter (a), Worden tells Temple that she may like to take the latest issue of National Geographic Magazine with her, most likely on the family trip that the Temples took to Mexico that summer, since it contains a picture and information about the St. Peter Cathedral and a "cowboy article" which may be of interest to her husband Walter and eldest son Thomas. With creases and minor tears, the object is in good condition overall. The envelope (b) has minor silverfish damage, minor edge wear, minor discoloration, and a tear along its right side. It is fair condition overall.
