Description

A letter and envelope from Temple L. Fatjo in San Francisco, California to Josette Temple in Puente, California, 2 August 1948. Since Fatjo was only seven years old when he authored this letter, the text of the letter is very free-spirited and wandering. Fatjo discusses his piggy bank, getting his tonsils out, and how "Barbara" has moved to Buchanan Street. He also states that he and Josette can go fishing when she visits. At the time of its acquisition, the envelope (b) contained eight photographs of Temple L. Fatjo, Agnes Temple, Inez Temple, and Ralphy Tally. Those photographs have been cataloged separately as part of the HM Collection. With a fold, minor discoloration, minor stains, and minor tears, the objects are in good condition overall.
