Description

A letter by an unknown author to G.C. Ivey in Whittier, California, 3 April 1913. Mr. Ivey is requested to go to Mrs. Scharenberg's to count all of the trees that are alive and determine which will grow above the bud and the number of citrus fruits that will grow. She is debating on replacing the lemon trees that the frost killed or using her Orange trees on lot 48. She would also like the front of lot 48 planted with budded walnuts. How much would it cost for Mr. Ivey, per tree, to move them from lost 48 to 57 and to set out the budded walnuts? A check for the work Mr. Ivey has done is enclosed and a receipt should be returned with his response letter. With an acid burn, a fold, tears, and creases, the object is in good overall condition.
