A letter by Edwin G. Hart to D.M. Boyd in Los Angeles, California. 4 February 1914.
A typed letter which was sent with a check for $256.12. The check was written by Mr. L.P. Marshall to pay the interest due on Lot 98 and 99 of tract 1953 of the North Whittier Heights subdivision. Mr. Hart asks that a receipt be mailed to Mr. Marshall. There is also a cash payment of $35.05 enclosed. This was sent by Walter Dudley Burris and is a partial payment for Lot 80 on tract 1953. The amount due is $85, but the company is withholding his salary, as pump engineer, of $49.95 to pay toward the property. This $35.05 is to make up the difference. The money is to be credited to his contract and a receipt of payment should be send on the 1st of March.
There is a brown spot on the left side, discoloration on the right side, minor creases on the bottom, and warping on the left side. This object is in good condition overall.
