A letter, clipping, and envelope from Perry Worden in Pasadena, California to Thomas W. Temple II in Cambridge, Massachusetts, 25 April 1927. Times poem in December which he believes will be valuable, and asks for it to be shown to Mrs. Bancroft. A typewritten copy letter (b) has been grouped with the first. In the copy, Worden seems to address Walter P. Temple, explaining that he has sent the poem on California to his son, Thomas. He also outlines how much he has spent on materials, including a government report related to water resources on Workman-Temple and other ranch properties. A newspaper clipping (c) with an article about Dummer Academy's football team has also been grouped with these objects. The article shows a photograph of the team, including Walter P. Temple, Jr. and Edgar Temple.
The envelope (d) has moderate tears, minor discoloration/acid burns, minor stains, minor silverfish damage, and edge wear. It is in fair to poor condition overall.Lexicon
