Description
A letter draft from an unknown author to Fred Ford in Central Lake, Michigan, 12 March 1913. An illustration folder of the orange, lemon and walnut land in North Whittier Heights will be mailed in a different letter. The Pollard Brothers will plant an additional 20,000 lemon and orange trees and land has been divided into 5 to 40 acre tracts with planted land at $865 an acre and unplanted at $700 an acre. The area is so good that $130,000 has been sold including 200 acres to California. Loan terms are giving and a contract to care for orchards is mentioned. This letter, with many corrections in pen and pencil is in response to object number 2017.41.1.16. With holes from a straight pin, stains, wear, tears, and pieces missing, the object is in good overall condition.
