A letter from A. Lusk & Co., San Francisco to Ann W. Chapman, 1 March 1887. The missive, to the sister of the late William S. Chapman, concerned the sales of tangerines and an enclosed check, while asking for more fruit as they were in demand and profitable. Ann Chapman appears to have inherited her brother's San Gabriel Fruit Belt grove after his death about a half-dozen years prior. With folds, browning and light soiling, the condition is good.
