A letter from A.M. Chidester in Whittier, California to G.T. Russell in Los Angeles, California. 18 September 1914.
A written letter on letterhead from the Los Angeles County Horticultural Commission. The letter states that Mr. Chidester was at Mr. Russell's property on Gale Avenue, near 7th, and found some scale. See enclosed notice for more information.
The top center reads "Los Angeles County / Horticultural Commission / Hall of Records, Ninth Floor / Home Phone 60831 - Sunset Main 2300." The top left corner names WM Wood as commissioner and the top right names B.R. Jones as deputy.
There are creases from the letter being folded, holes in the top left corner from a straight pin, the glue along the top edge has browned, warping on the left side, and abrasion damage both front and back along the folds. This object is in good condition overall.
