A letter from A.W. Shaffer of the B.O. Kendall Company in Pasadena, California to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 15 March 1918. A typed letter on a letterhead for the B.O. Kendall Company. Mr. Shaffer asks if Mr. Hart could take him and his client, a prospective buyer, to Whittier Heights to see 5 and 10 acre citrus groves. Mr. Shaffer would like to make the trip with Mr. Hart on March 19th, 1918. In a handwritten note which seems to have been left by Mr. Hart, the addressee, Russell, is urged to give Mr. Shaffer a good impression of the section so that he will bring more "high-class buyers." With creases, rust stains, pin holes, minor foxing, and minor discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
