Description
A letter from an unknown author in Los Angeles to W.W. Camp in Owensboro, Kentucky. 14 February 1916. A two page, typed letter. The author confirms that Mr. Camp's earlier letter regarding the walnut groves in the North Whittier Heights subdivision (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1010) has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the property. The author explains that the prices of the walnut groves range from $700 to $850 per acre. The author also gives details about the subdivision's water stocks, water system, and roads. The author outlines the terms of sale for the property but mentions that more bearing walnut groves are available in other Los Angeles and Orange County sections. The author offers to show Mr. Camp to the North Whittier Heights lands if he travels to Los Angeles. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, water stains, and minor acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
