A letter from an unknown author of the Whittier Extension Company in Los Angeles, California to G.H. Riddell in Hollywood, California, 9 August 1913. A descriptive folder of North Whittier Heights is being sent to Mr. Riddell, which includes a map of Southern California showing the location of the property, a map showing the subdivided plots, and articles on the soil, water, and climatic conditions. Land has been divided into 1.5 to 20 acre tracts and costs $500 to $800 an acre with land planted to avocados being an extra $250 an acre. Loan terms are given. With the top corner being glued together, wear, and a piece missing, the object is in good overall condition.
