Description
A letter from an unknown author of the Whittier Extension Company to J.A. Cole in Whittier, California. 18 October 1913.
A typed letter regarding the property of J.A. Cole in North Whittier Heights. Mr. Cole has concerns he would like to discuss and Mr. Hart will be happy to meet with him at his earliest convenience. Regarding the moving of the air pipe on the pressure line to the line on Mr. Cole's lot, the engineer believes that moving the air pipe to Mr. Cole's land would prevent it from doing its job. Regarding the cut across Mr. Cole's lot for the storm drain, the cut is not to go across his property, but run along the lot line. The author closes the letter with the reason the deed has not been sent to Mr. Cole. This is because special forms needed to be printed for this property and the Whittier Extension Company has been very busy that no one had a chance to get to the printer until recently. The printer is working on the forms and will be done shortly.
There are many tears on the right side, early signs of foxing on the right side, browning along the top, and a fold in the top right corner. This object is in good condition overall.
