A letter from an unknown author to A. More at Orchard Dale Water Company in Whittier, California, ca. 1910-1924. A two page, typed letter. The author states that he has received a letter from the Orchard Dale Water Company for Josie Scharenberg, which explains that the company's board of directors will have their attorney, Mr. More, sue those who are over 60 days delinquent on their water at Orchard Dale. The author states that he is unsure how Mrs. Scharenberg's bill should be handled in regard to her use of excess water, and that he has not been able to get clarification from anyone. Therefore, the author states that he will either contact or visit the board to discuss the issue. With yellowing, pin holes, minor tears, stains, minor acid burns, a missing piece, a dog-eared corner, and early signs of foxing, the object is in good condition overall.Lexicon
