Description
A letter from an unknown author to A. Pascoe in Whittier, California. 29 September 1916. A two page, typed letter. In reference to a call that Mr. Pascoe made to Mr. Maple, the author assumes that Mr. Pascoe still desires to purchase some of the Amar property. The author apologizes that he was not able to finalize the co-operative purchase deal which Mr. Pascoe had agreed to; however, the author states that, in his view, the deal had become unworkable. The author also alludes to some difficulties in the negotiation process that may have been caused by Mr. Pascoe. Nevertheless, the author clarifies that he would gladly finalize the deal if Mr. Pascoe is able to secure enough buyers to purchase the 50 acres of land. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, minor acid burns, creases, and early signs of foxing/rust stains, the object is in good condition overall.
