Description

A letter from an unknown author to A. Pascoe in Whittier, California. 6 September 1916. A two page, typed letter. The author discusses the matter of closing the co-operative deal on the Amar property. The author explains that Fidel Amar is willing to deliver either a 50 acre portion of lot 2 or all 100 acres for $250 per acre, and that Mr. Pascoe and Mr. Goddicksen are set to take about 26 acres in total. However, the author states that he has struggled to find other buyers and that he may not be able to close on the deal; thus, he offers to return Mr. Pascoe's $100 deposit, though he acknowledges that it is still possible for the deal to go through as planned. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, creases, wear, minor tears, and a minor acid burn, the object is in good condition overall.
