Description

A letter from an unknown author to Archie Eley, Chief of the Los Angeles Fire Department, in Los Angeles, California. 16 September 1915. The author informs Mr. Eley that he has been unable to contact him by phone or office visit. The author recounts an arrangement in which Mr. Eley made an account for trees that was then given to Mr. Borden. The account was subsequently assigned to George Weinshank. Mr. Weinshank owes a commission to the author which he is unable to pay. If Mr. Eley pays one of his bills early, however, Mr. Weinshank will be able to pay the author, and will discount Mr. Eley's account by 10 percent for his accommodation. With a water stain, wear, creases, pin holes, discoloration throughout, and minor tears, the object is in fair condition overall.
