A letter from an unknown author to Asa Douglas in Whittier, California. 16 December 1914. A letter copy stating that a check for $25 was inclosed. The money is to thank Mr. Douglas for assisting him, the author, in exchanging his land in Orachrd Dale with land in Los Angeles belonging to Mr. Orr. He exchanged one lot in Los Angeles for 3 acres in La Fortuna and 3.36 acres in North Whittier Heights, all of whcih has been planted to Valencia Oranges. The letter is closed with wishes of good health. There is a crease in the top left corner, general yellowing of paper, discoloration on the left and right side, warping on the right side, and early foxing on the left side. This object is in fair condition overall.
