Description
A letter from an unknown author to Asa Douglas in Whittier, California. 17 January 1914.
A typed letter in which the author states he is trying to sell his property at Orchard Dale. The author was out at the property a few days prior and thought it would look better without trees. He would like Asa Douglas to remove any trees and plow the fields. All good trees can be put off to the side. The author is still waiting for the return on the casabas fruit, and does not think the return will be as great as they were hoping. The author has one woman who is interested in buying the property, who may call on Mr. Douglas to care for the property and raise vegetable between the trees. The author is selling at $900 an acre and will be taking some Los Angeles equities as first payment. If the woman does call on Mr. Douglas, and he pushes for her to buy the property, the author will compensate Mr. Douglas.
There is discoloration on all sides. This object is in good condition overall.
