A letter from an unknown author to Asa Douglas in Whittier, California. 24 March 1914.
A typed letter, in which an unknown author has sent a check for $20.25 to Asa Douglas. The check is to cover work done in his property, Lot 9, in Orchard Dale. The author has sold the property to John Stites Orr and wants Mr. Douglas to know. The deal is not completed, per Mr. Mizener, but should be completed soon. The author has yet to receive payment for his casabas, but Mrs. Hollahan called and stated she received a statement and check for $151. He is going to write another letter telling them where they can find him. The author closes the letter by stating he will be in Whittier this week and will try to see Mr. Douglas.
There is discoloration on the top and right side, a fold of the bottom left corner, a stain on the bottom right corner, a very small tear on the bottom, three small tears along the top, and creases on the top and bottom left corners, and the bottom right corner. This object is in good condition overall.
