Description

A letter from an unknown author to Asa Douglas in Whittier, California. 24 November 1913. A typed letter where the author states he was at his property in Orchard Dale to look it over and believes they should wrap all the orange trees, with newspaper, above the bud. If it gets to cold this winter to where the newspaper wrapping does not work, he will let those trees go. The author would like Asa Douglas to haul all the casabas that are sound to Mr. Douglas' farm and thinks he should get a good price for them in 2 to 3 weeks. The author also suggests that Mr. Douglas haul Mrs. Hollahan's fruit up to his barn as well. The author closes the letter by stating he should be in Whittier later in the week and will try to stop by. There are minor creases on the left side, a small tear on the top and bottom, discoloration of the top right corner, a tear on the right side, and a fold on the right side. This object is in fair condition overall.
