Description

A letter from an unknown author to B.C. Dodson in Glendora, California. 19 March 1915. In reference to Mr. Dodson's last letter (Object ID: 2017.41.1.784), the author insists that he paid his taxes on the lot before selling it, and that no interest payments were due. The author states that there was a payment due at the time of the sale, but that he had taken care of it. The author feels that Mr. Dodson should not have any problems keeping the lot as long as he is able to pay $12.50 a month. The author wants 300 of the trees on the lot to be dug out, ideally by the next week, so that he can plant them. The author also wants 50 Valencias if Mr. Dodson has some available. The author explains that there was a mistake at the Kleinberg-Edwards Company which caused confusion over the taxes, and ends by stating that he would like to hear from Mr. Dodson about the 300 trees and about who might haul them. With some slight discoloration near the edges of the document and slight creasing at the bottom right corner, the object is in good condition overall.
