Description
A letter from an unknown author to B.H. Charles in Long Beach, California. 5 June 1916. The abbreviation "GTR/B" near the bottom of the document suggests that this letter was written by Grover T. Russell. The author confirms that Mr. Charles' earlier card (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1112) has been received. The author specifies that his firm primarily operates in the Whittier foothill and San Gabriel sections rather than the San Fernando Valley. The author states that Mr. Charles may be able to exchange his land in Long Beach to cover a portion of the price on a foothill ranch property. The author would like a description of Mr. Charles' property, including its price, so that he can try to work out a proposition. With ink stains, two minor tears, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
