A letter from an unknown author to B.W. Murphy in Glenside, Pennsylvania. 27 January 1916. A two page, typed letter. The author confirms that Mr. Murphy's letter regarding the North Whittier Heights orange, lemon, grapefruit, walnut, and avocado subdivisions has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the property. The author lists the prices of the unplanted lands as ranging from $450 to $800 per acre and the planted lands as ranging from $700 to $1050 per acre depending on the location and or crop. The author goes on to ouline the terms of sale for the property. The author suggests that Mr. Murphy can send an acquaintance to inspect the property, refer to entities such as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, or visit the lands personally to learn about their merit. The author offers to provide more information at Mr. Murphy's request.
