Description
A letter from an unknown author to C.H. Webster in Hibbing, Minnesota. 11 November 1916. A two page, typed letter. The author confirms that Mr. Webster's letter regarding the North Whittier Heights subdivisions (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1228) has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the property. The author lists the prices of the unplanted lands as ranging from $300 to $800 per acre and the planted lands as ranging a $700 to $1,250 per acre depending on the location and/or crop. The author briefly describes the terms of sale and suggests that Mr. Webster can send an acquaintance to inspect the lands or refer to entities such as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce to learn about the property's merits. The author states, however, that it would be more ideal for Mr. Webster to travel to Los Angeles and visit the property himself. The author offers to provide more information at Mr. Webster's request. With minor acid burns and a minor tear, the object is in good condition overall.
