Description
A letter from an unknown author to Chas. Forman in Los Angeles, California. 21 October 1918. A two page, typed letter. The author asks whether Mr. Forman and his sister are willing to give a price on their 100 acre property near Puente as he has a client who may be willing to purchase it. The author also offers another proposition in which the property would be developed by a party, planted to walnut and Valencia orange trees, and then equitably divided or sold off in small tracts. The author states that he successfully developed the North Whittier Heights property and that his partner, Gurney Maple, is also an experienced developer; therefore, the author asserts that he and Mr. Maple could handle a proposition of this kind in a satisfactory manner. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, moderate discoloration/acid burns, early signs of foxing, ink stains, minor tears, and brittleness caused by the acidity of the material, the object is in fair condition overall.
