A letter from an unknown author to D. M. Boyd in Los Angeles, California. 21 April 1914.
A typed letter in which a $500 certificate of deposit, endorsed to the Whittier Extension Company is enclosed. Lot 50 in tract 2421 was just sold to Sadie Combs, which she bought for $4952.00, with 1/10, or $495.20 being due up front. The $500 certificate of deposit is paying for this down payment. The author wrote a personal check of $4.80 for the difference. H.M. Jordan is to get 2.5% commission and Grover T. Russel is to get 3.5% commission for this sale.
There is abrasion damage on the bottom and discoloration on the right side. This object is in good condition overall.
