A letter from an unknown author to David Fairchild of the Bureau of Plant Industry in Washington, D.C. 27 October 1915. The author has learned from an article that the Bureau of Plant Industry has been running experiments to see if Mangosteen can be grown in the Canal Zone or Puerto Rico. The author would like to be a part of these experiments as he is willing to plant Mangosteen trees on his property in Southern California near Los Angeles. With minor ink stains and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
