Description
A letter from an unknown author to E.A. Kaine in Denver, Colorado. 12 April 1915. A two page, typed document. The author confirms that Mr. Keine's card about the North Whittier Heights orange, lemon, grapefruit, walnut, and avocado subdivsions (Object ID: 2017.41.1.816) has been received and that he wil be sent a descriptive folder of the property. The author lists the prices of unplanted lands as ranging from $450 to $800 per acre and planted lands from $700 to $1,025 per acre. The author notes that $450,000 of the property has been sold since the year of 1913. The author suggests that Mr. Kaine can refer to entities such as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce to learn the merits of the property, but that it would be more ideal if Mr. Kaine could travel to California and see the property himself. With notable acid burns on the first page and adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the two pages together, the object is in good condition overall.
