Description
A letter from an unknown author to Edward Carr in Yuma, Arizona. 17 January 1914.
A typed letter responding to a letter sent to the Whittier Extension Company, which the author received after he returned to Los Angeles from his holiday trip. The author expected Edward Carr and his wife to take the lost in San Marino Court, and left word with Mr. Hart regarding the negotiations, which Mr. Hart would handle while the author was away. The price the author provided, a month ago, was for immediate sale. It is suggested that Mr. Carr make an investment in a 5 or 10 acre lot at North Whittier Heights. There is a 5.227 acre lot that has been planted to Valencia Oranges and a 5.702 acre lot which has been planted to Eureka Lemons. The cost of these lands will go up on the 1st of February. The author is going to mail an itemized statement with the costs of buying 5 acres of planted or unplanted land. As well as production, value and cost to mature a grove to 5 years.
There is a fold on the left side, minor creases along the top and left side (probably from being handled), and discoloration on the left side, top and right side. This object is in good condition overall.
