Description
A letter from an unknown author to F.L. Hackett in Denver, Colorado. 3 January 1915. A letter in response to a postcard asking for orange and walnut land in Southern California. A descriptive folder was mailed on the 9th of December, but a second folder will be mailed under a different cover. In the folder will be information on a tract of 2.757 acre which was planted to walnuts and being sold for $800 per acre. Terms are 1/5 cash, 1/5 in 2 years and the balance in 5 years. This was part of a bigger lot, but the owner did not want all the acres. The author suggests planting vegetable between the trees to offset the cost. There is a crease in the top left corner, and water damage on the right side. This object is in good condition overall.
