Description
A letter from an unknown author to G.R. Rose in Catesby, Oklahoma. 24 April 1916. A two page, typed document. The author confirms that Mr. Rose's earlier letter (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1076) has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the North Whittier Heights lands. The author lists the prices of the unplanted lands as ranging from $450 to $800 per acre and the planted lands as ranging from $700 to $1050 per acre depending on the location and or crop. The author suggests that Mr. Rose can send an acquaintance to inspect the property, refer to entities such as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, or visit the lands personally to learn their merits. The author also offers to provide more information at Mr. Rose's request. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, minor foxing, two minor tears, and discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
