Description
A letter from an unknown author to G.W. Jones in Hollywood, California. 20 November 1918. The author states that he has sent this letter to Mr. Jones' home so that it could be forwarded to him. The author explains he has become aware of Mr. Jones' intention to pull his oil property from the market. The author feels that the issuing of leases on oil properties has likely slowed because of the "peace armistice" (The Armistice of 11 November 1918), though another party, Noel, feels that oil officials may be trying to withold bonuses. The author expresses regret that Noel could not arrange a deal for Mr. Jones. With a minor tear, severe discoloration/acid burns, and stains, the object is in good condition overall.
