A letter from an unknown author to George W. Holman in Des Plaines, Illinois. 4 February 1915. The author confirms that Mr. Holman's inquiry about the North Whittier Heights orange, lemon, grapefruit, walnut, and avocado land subdivisions has been recieved, and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the property. The author states that unplanted subdivisions range from $450 to $800 in price per acre; planted lemon, orange, and grapefruit groves range from $775 to $1025; and walnut goves range from $700 to $775. The author estimates that about $450,000 of the property has already been sold and urges Mr. Holman to refer to entities like the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce or to tour the land personally to discern the merit of the property.
