A letter from an unknown author to Grover T. Russell in Whittier, California. 6 December 1919. A typed letter on a letterhead for D.A. Mizener, a loan and real estate agent. This is most likely a reply letter from Mr. Mizener. A possible draft version of this letter is present in the HM Collection (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1544). The author explains that he has priced his children's 2.57 acre walnut property, the western half of Lot 5, at $2,500 per acre on account of its increasing productivity and the current oil boom. The author briefly discusses the merits of the property, and notes that, while the land is listed with multiple parties, the first party who comes will receive the commission. The author encourages Mr. Russell to come meet with him. With creases, minor acid burns/discoloration, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
