Description
A letter from an unknown author to Gurney Maple. 4 August 1917. The author states that he is enclosing a duplicate of an appraisal which the Whittier Extension Company had submitted to the bank. The appraisal was signed by the author and Mr. Maple, and it was submitted in regard to a south line disputed property. The author states that Mr. Hollowell will bring Mr. Maple the document to sign on Saturday and that he should return the document before Mr. Hollowell departs on Monday. The author mentions that he has not been able to close the Hudson deal and that he would like to close at lease one deal before taking his vacation. The author concludes by wishing Mr. Maple and his family well during their stay in Twin Pines. With minor acid burns, two minor tears, ink smudges, and minor moisture damage, the object is in good condition overall.
