Description
A letter from an unknown author to H. M. Jordan in Whittier, California, 31 July 1913. The Whittier Extension company offered to hire Mr. Stone as superintendent with the agreement he would care for the orchards in exchange for property bought on a payment plan. Unfortunately, they already have a foreman, Mr. Witlock, however, his work is almost complete. They don't want to lose Mr. Stone and are offering him a 30 day contract to work the orchards, with a possibility to turn into something permanent. With the top of the pages being glued together, discoloration, and tears, the object is in good overall condition.
