A letter from an unknown author to H. McDowell in Long Beach, California, 9 June 1913. Responding to Mr. McDoewll's request (object number 2017.41.1.101) a descriptive folder of North Whittier Heights is being sent, which includes a map of Southern California showing the location of the property and a map showing the subdivided plots. Land has been divided into 5 to 50 acre tracts and would be good for chickens, deciduous fruit, and citrus. The author recommends three plots all costing $700 an acre. Loan terms, subdivision location and electric car location are given as well as water and electricity options. With holes from a straight pin, creases, discoloration, rust, a piece missing, a dent, water damage, and early signs of foxing, the object is in fair overall condition.Lexicon
