Description
A letter from an unknown author to H.A. Bogue in Irasburg, Vermont. 21 September 1917. A two page, typed document. The author states that Mr. Bogue's earlier letter rearding an advertisement for a 50 acre walnut grove, which is part of the Rancho del Rio property in California, has been received. The author notes that the grove is south of the boulevard which runs between El Monte and Puente. The author describes the grove as being planted to multiple varieties of walnuts and priced at $450 per acre. The author suggests that another property, a 60 acre walnut grove located near North Whittier Heights and priced at $700 per acre, may be a more ideal purchase for Mr. Bogue. The author states that he would be glad to show the properties to Mr. Bogue's son-in-law. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, minor acid burns, creases, a minor tear, minor abrasion damage, and a fold, the object is in good conditon overall.
