Description
A letter from an unknown author to H.H. Chapman in Garden, California. 27 January 1916. The author confirms that Mrs. Chapman's letter regarding a 22 acre property has been received. The author explains that the properties in North Whittier Heights may not suit Mrs. Chapman's desire to own a 1 acre property with a 4-room house. Nevertheless, the author lists two properties for Mrs. Chapman to consider: a 1.65 acre lemon tract which is priced at $900 per acre and a 2 and a half acre unplanted property which is priced at $700 per acre. The author also states that, if Mrs. Chapman is willing to look outside of North Whittier Heights, she may find more suitable properties. The author mentions that there is a lot in the Bellflower section with a 3-room house as well as a one acre property with a small house at Bell station. The author offers to show Mrs. Chapman the properties at her request. With minor acid burns, minor foxing, minor tears, minor wear, two missing pieces, and an ink stain, the object is in good condition overall.
