Description
A letter from an unknown author to H.M. Jordan in Whittier, California. 25 June 1914.
A typed letter copy stating that a check for $61.90 was enclosed. The check was from the Whittier Extension Company and covers half the commission owed to H.M. Jordan for the sale of lot 50 in tract 2421 to Sadie Combs. The second half of commission will be sent when Ms. Combs pays the remaining 1/5 down payment. The total purchase was $4952. The 5% commission comes to $247.60. Half of the commission is $123.80 or $61.90 each. The author writes he is sorry for the delay on sending Mr. Jordan his portion of commission. The company secretary was sick and they vouchers had to wait till he returned. The letter is closed by stating the Grey check should be coming in soon, so hopefully Mr. Jordan will soon get his commission of $46.19 from that sale.
There is a fold in the top left corner, and discoloration on the right side. This object is in good condition overall.
