Description

A letter from an unknown author to H.M. Jordan in Whittier, California. 27 February 1914. A typed letter copy, following up on company business. A bill, which was sent to the author, for the planing of barley on the Quigley lot 93 is enclosed. In a letter, Mr. Quigley says that Mr. Jordan over charged for the work done. The bills is $7.50 per say, where the going rate is $7.00, and that is all he is going to pay. He is also upset that the Mr. Jordan sent the bill to the author to give to Mr. Quigley instead of sending the bill directly to Mr. Quigley. The author suggests that Mr. Jordan go see Mr. Quigley first thing and straighten the matter out. There is a fold of the top left corner, small tears on the right side, discoloration on the right side, creases on the bottom and right edges, and an acid burn along the top. This object is in good condition overall.
