Description

A letter from an unknown author to H.M. Jordan in Whittier, California. 27 May 1916. In reference to an earlier conversation with Mr. Jordan, the author explains that no additional charge will be placed against those who market fruit in the packing house that his firm plans to build in the Fall of 1917. The author also explains that he had a discussion with Mr. Pratt and Mr. Milliken of the California Fruit Growers Exchange regarding the prospective packing house. According to the author, Mr. Pratt and Mr. Milliken think that it would be reasonable to have any associates east of the author's tract send their fruit through the packing house until a second one is built. With minor foxing, two tears, and minor ink stains, the object is in good condition overall.
