Description
A letter from an unknown author to I. Worth Everett in El Monte, California. 20 December 1913.
A typed letter in response to I. Worth Everett's letter (object number 2017.41.1.279) asking for the price and terms of planted and unplanted land in North Whittier Heights. Unplanted lands range between $450 and $800 an acre and planted lands cost between $750 and $975 an acre. However, the owner of North Whittier Heights is going to raise the price on all unsold lots in February. The author will have Mr. Quigley call and provide Mr. Everett with more information. They will be happy to take Mr. Everett out to see the property, and are certain he will be pleased with it. A descriptive folder will be mailed under a separate cover letter. This will include a map of the tracts as subdivided and a map of Southern California which shows the exact location of the property. The back has what was to be the start of a contract for trees.
There is a tear on the bottom, and discoloration from the top and right side. This object is in good condition overall.
