Description

A letter from an unknown author to I.H. Curtis in San Bernardino, California. 13 February 1914. A typed letter asking for clarification as to actions taken when I.H. Curtis received the authors letter from the 9th of February. On the 9th, the author asked Mr. Curtis for advertising rates, as their company is contemplating the handling of their advertising campaign rather than taking the time to educate an advertising firm to get satisfactory service. The author received a letter from Mr. Curtis, that the letter from the 9th was referred to the Read-Miller Company in Los Angeles. The author would like to know if the letter he wrote on the 9th was forwarded or is a letter asking for prices to be mailed to the author was sent. The author writes that they worked with the Read-Miller Company and is worried they may be peeved with what was in the letter. The author asks that if the letter was not sent, to please not send it. The author closes the letter by stating that they Read-Miller people are good, as good as any of the ad writing firms in the area, the company just thinks more of their abilities. There are folds in the top corners, a crease in the bottom left corner, browning along the top, and discoloration on the right side. This object is in good condition overall.
