Description

A letter from an unknown author to J.G. Pfister in Syracuse, New York. 13 January 1915. In response to Mr. Pfister's card, the author states that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the North Whittier Heights citrus and walnut land subdivision and a related map. The author explains that the property is divided into tracts of varying sizes, and that the prices of unplanted tracts range from $450 to $800 per acre while the planted tracts range from $700 to $1,025 per acre. The planted tracts are stated to be citrus and walnut lands. A brief paragraph discusses infrastructure near the property and plans to subdivide a townsite on the land. The author states that Mr. Pfister can contact the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and/or other entities to learn about the merit of the property. The author urges Mr. Pfister to call his office if he is interested in buying some acreage and would like to see the property or get more information. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, minor acid burns, moderate discoloration, and stains, the object is in fair condition overall.
