A letter from an unknown author to J.H. Griffin in Lake Odessa, Michigan. 18 May 1914.
A typed letter in response to a letter (object number 2017.41.1.490) requesting a descriptive folder for Southern California. The author writes that they do not mail out descriptive folders for Southern California, but they do send free folders for their property in North Whittier Heights, which includes a map of Southern California. The author has looked through his records and saw that he has previously sent descriptive folders for North Whittier Heights, and assumes that J.H. Griffin does not want another. The author closes the letter with a suggestion that Mr. Griffin write the Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles for information on the state.
There is a crease in the bottom left corner, a dent in the top left corner from the head of a straight pin, embrittlement of the bottom right, water damage on the right side, and discoloration on all sides. This object is in fair condition overall.
