Description

A letter from an unknown author to J.M. Miller in Covina, California. 19 January 1914. A typed letter following up with a possible client of the North Whittier Heights subdivision. The author informs that the value of the property will increase soon due to the building of a townsite as well as the completion of a road connecting Whittier Boulevard to Pomona Road. The author wishes to once again inform J.M. Miller that the owners of North Whittier Heights will increase the prices of their young planted citrus groves on the 1st of February and suggests that Mr. Miller purchase property before that date. Citrus growers in the area compare North Whittier Heights with the best old citrus districts in the state. The author once again recommends the Mr. Miller buy land before the 1st of February, and still has some good plots left. The author closes the letter by stating that if Mr. Miller can not come up with the 1/5 cash down, they may be able to work out a small deposit with a balance to be paid at a later date. There is a small fold in the top right corner, acid burn on the top left, abrasion damage of the top left, minor creases in the bottom left corner, and discoloration on the right side. This object is in good condition over all.
